LOokie EYES ART

MEEt LOOKIE EYES

Stevie Cooke (Lookie Eyes) smiling and showing her fingers with colorful rings in front of neon-lit arcade games including Zombie Bowling.

My real name is Stevie but my art name is Lookie Eyes. Is that important? Who’s to say. But one thing I do have is eyes that like to look at things.

I love bold colours, imagined narratives and dreamlike compositions, and I aim to bring together figures and place in a way that tells a story for the viewer. I also love to explore our relationship with the natural world and often feature imagined flowers and plants, and animals with a sense of human expression.

I’m on an artistic journey of exploration and storytelling, and I work with a variety of different materials. But people, place and space are always at the heart of the bold and colourful work I create.
